Welcome to Travel Indica. By accessing or booking any tour through our website (www.travelindica.com), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making any bookings.
1. General Terms
- Travel Indica acts as a tour operator and service facilitator, arranging travel services including accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, and guided tours.
- All bookings made through our website or authorized representatives are subject to the terms set out herein.
- The term “Client,” “You,” or “Traveler” refers to the person making the booking or participating in the tour.
2. Booking Policy
- To confirm your booking, an advance payment (usually 25–50% of total cost) is required at the time of reservation.
- The balance amount must be paid before the start of the tour, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Booking confirmations are subject to availability and will be confirmed via email.
- Travel Indica reserves the right to refuse bookings without providing a reason.
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Cancellations must be communicated in writing (via email).
- Standard cancellation charges apply as follows:
- 30 days or more before departure: 10% of total tour cost
- 15–29 days before departure: 25% of total tour cost
- 7–14 days before departure: 50% of total tour cost
- Less than 7 days or no-show: 100% of total tour cost (non-refundable)
- Refunds will be processed within 10–15 working days after receiving the cancellation request.
- Some special or high-season tours may have stricter policies (these will be communicated at booking).
4. Tour Modifications
- Travel Indica reserves the right to make reasonable changes in itinerary due to weather, political situations, flight delays, or other circumstances beyond our control.
- If a service or activity is canceled by the provider (e.g., monument closure, strikes, etc.), we will make every effort to arrange an equivalent alternative.
5. Pricing & Inclusions
- All prices are quoted in USD or INR and are subject to change without prior notice due to currency fluctuations or government taxes.
- Package inclusions and exclusions are mentioned clearly on each tour page.
- Any additional expenses incurred due to personal nature (e.g., tips, drinks, personal shopping, optional activities) are the traveler’s responsibility.
6. Liability & Responsibility
- Travel Indica acts only as an intermediary between travelers and independent service providers (hotels, transport companies, restaurants, etc.).
- We are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, or irregularity that may occur due to the acts or defaults of third-party suppliers.
- Travelers are responsible for ensuring valid travel documents (passport, visa, permits) and complying with local laws during travel.
7. Health, Safety & Conduct
- Travelers are expected to be in good health and capable of participating in the selected tour.
- Travel Indica or its guides reserve the right to remove any traveler who poses a safety risk or disrupts the experience of others, without refund.
- We ensure our tours follow local safety and hygiene standards, especially for food and transportation.
8. Travel Insurance
- We strongly recommend that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, health emergencies, and personal belongings before departure.
- Travel Indica is not responsible for loss, theft, or medical emergencies during the trip.
9. Force Majeure
Travel Indica shall not be held liable for any delay, cancellation, or alteration caused by circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, strikes, or government restrictions.
10. Governing Law
- These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India.
- Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.
